Code - MT/1/2/07 Come and explore our hidden bikers paradise in the Himalayas, our one week bikers dream will take you through long and winding Himalayan curves with less traffic and great biking conditions. DAY01. Arrival from DEL,KTM or BKK. This is a breathtaking mountain flight weather permitting as you can see all great Himalayan peaks including Everest. Upon arrival our staff will be there to receive you at the airport. Be at leisure to explore the town and inspect your machines can do some acclimatization ride on your machines. o/n Paro. DAY02. Sightseeing in Paro Sightseeing at Paro. Start your ride and sightseeing of the Paro valley, visit Drugyal Dzong, National Muesuem and Kichu Monastery. PM ride to the Chelila pass at 4000m for great views of Mt. Jhomolhari and other great Himalayan delight. o/n Paro. DAY03. Paro to Thimphu. 65km 2hrs. After completion of Paro sightseeing ride towards Thimphu through the hamlet of Paro amidst willow trees and views of rice fields all along the Paro river and the Thimphu river. On reaching Thimphu explore the city. o/n Thimphu. DAY04. Thimphu – Punakha 77km 3hrs15min. Sightsee at Thimphu. Visit the Folk Heritage Muesuem, the view point at Sangaygang, visit the Takin reserve, the Zilukha nunnery and after lunch ride towards Punakha through the Dochula pass at 3000m, weather permitting you have great views of the eastern Himalayan range. o/n Punakha. DAY05. Punakha-Wangdue- Gangtey. 83km 3.5hrs. Today we head towards the beautiful glacial valley of Phobjikha, which is also the abode of the endangered black neck cranes who migrate every year to this valley. Enroute visit Chimey Lhakhang/Monastery the Temple of the Devine mad man who is a greatly loved Devine saint. Visit the Wangdue Dzong which rests majestically on a ride of a hill riding through the village of Shengana and all along the Wangdue clear water. O/n Phobjikha. DAY06. Gangtey –Thimphu 140km 5.3hrs. Visit the Gangtey Monastery, which is the only Pelling sect Monastery in Bhutan and is 450 years old. Can ride around the Valley as Phobjikha is a very broad glacial valley. Ride to Thimphu be at leisure to do shopping etc. O/n Thimphu. DAY07. Thimphu – Paro 65km 2hrs. Complete sightseeing at Thimphu and Paro. If the weather is good ride to Chelila pass from Paro, to get great views of Mt. Jhomolhari. Chelila pass is also the highest road point in Bhutan near 4000m. Farewell dinner and end of your motorcycle saga. o/n Paro DAY08.
