Tour 1 - Motorcycletour in Westbhutan

Discover the attractive Westbhutan on our austrian KTM's 640er Adventure. The highest passable pass of the kingdom, the Chele La pass on tightly 4.000m expects you.

Tour A: 10 days: 7. - 17. 3. 2006 - Tour B: 10 days: 3. - 13. 10. 2006

1st day - Arrival in Kathmandu, short transfer (ca. 5 minutes) to the nearly lain Hotel Dwarika*****, check in and relaxing, exzellent dinner and a last drink at the Fusionbar befor we go to sleep

2nd day – A cultural day in the Himalaya-Metropole, the big Stupa in Boudha as well as the visit at the Swayambunaths stands on the program. Also the Pashupatinat,- the combustion sites of the Hindu will be seen.

3rd day – Flight to Paro/Bhutan with "the thunder dragon" (Drukair), along the worlds highest mountains,- surely the worlds most grandiose panoramic flight. Heartly reception from the Himalayan Adventures team and transfer to Thimpu. Overnight stay in a Cityhotel.

4th day – The biketour begins, first excursion in Thimpu to the outlook point. Further we drive to Punakha over the Dochu La pass (3.200m), If the weather is good we can catch a lovely view of the Himalayas. Visit of the Culminationdzong as well as a voluntary crossing of the cliff bridge with 140m chip expanse. Evenings in a cozy resorthotel. Ca. 100 km or 4-5 hours to drive.

5th day - Expanse trip over Wandue to Pobjika, examination of the Dzong, little offroadtrip into the mountains. Cozy evening in the Resorthotel, we enjoy the good bhutanese kitchen. Ca. 100 km or ca. 4 hours to drive onroad, offroad freely after desire and mood.

6th day - we drive over the Dochu La back until Thimpu, in good visibility the hole bhutanese Himalaya will lie before us. Evenings we are in a city hotel in Thimpu. Ca. 150 km or ca. 6 hours to drive onroad.

7th day - we drive into the valley of Haa, lovely asphalt expects us in zero of traffic, overnight stay in a guest house. The district of Haa is opened since 2 years for the tourism. Ca. 100 km or ca. 4 load hours. Expanse trip into the beautiful valley of Paro. We travel on the highest pass Bhutans, the Chele La with 3,968 meter height. After arrival in Paro we have the possibility of a short Offroadtrip. Ca. 70km or ca. 3 hours to drive.

8th day - today we make different excursions in the valley of Paro freely after desire and mood, also a short migration to the outlook point of the Tigernestmonastery would be planned. Last purchase possibilities in the village Paro, evenings we enjoy wellness in the most beautiful hotel of Bhutan,- in the Zhiwa Ling,- the place of the peace. Here expects us bhutanese wellness and a traditional Hotstonebath with subsequent Farewelldinner.

9th day - early in the morning our flight goes back to Kathmandu. Last purchase possibilities or simply relaxing in the dreamlike beautiful Dwarika.

10th day - after a last breakfast our home flight starts, as an alternative also an extension in the culture capital Kathmandu possible.

Of course accompanying persons can also be on this tour, who can sometimes travel on the backseats of the bikes or selectively in the accompanying vehicle. The Mayerlama,- the initiator of this motorcycle life trip,- is considered if possible to have a well-balanced Yin Yang in the respective groups.

The price for accompanying persons without intercontinental flights: € 3.250,--

The fine details of the respective trip programs become made basically ca. 3 months before trip start, based on partially very late put on flight schedules. (Druk Air) based on limited flight and hotel capacities, we require your registration at the latest 6 months before trip start.
